- 1-½ C. flour
- 3 C. oats
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1 T. wheat germ
- 1 T. coconut
- ½ t. salt
- 1 t. ground cinnamon
- ¼ t. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1-¼ C. (2-1/2 sticks) butter
- ½ C. honey
- 1 egg
- 1 t. vanilla flavoring
Instructions: Heat oven at 375 degrees F. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt, and spices; mix well. Stir in oats. Drop by round tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
Yield: 4-½ dozen

Just wanted to let you know tha Ive tried just about all of your recipes!! They are great! We had a wonderful time ast ya'lls house wish we could of stayed longer!!

It’s funny that you wrote, because I’ve been think about you all lately. I miss Keana. Lydia and I were looking at a picture of her yesterday and saying how adorable she is. Hey, if you ever want to take me up on that offer…you know, the year’s supply of banana bread…? =D
I wish you could have stayed longer too. That was too bad, but I’m glad we got to spend some time together. It was a blessing.
